Heather Zapp-Massaro is the founder of Zapp Educational Consulting, a firm dedicated to providing personalized support for students and families throughout high school and the college admissions journey. With over 30 years of experience as a classroom teacher, intervention specialist, and educational consultant, Heather brings a wealth of expertise to guide students toward their best-fit educational paths.

Holding Master’s and Educational Specialist degrees in Education, Gifted & Talented, and Teaching English as a Second Language, Heather specializes in executive function coaching, twice-exceptionality (2e), educational diagnostics, and goal setting. After earning her certificate in Independent Educational Consulting from UC Irvine, she transitioned her deep knowledge of student learning into helping clients navigate the complexities of college admissions with confidence.

A recognized speaker on Executive Function and data-driven evaluative plans since 2017, Heather has presented at state and national conferences through the Ohio Association of Gifted Children (OAGC) and the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA). She is also an active member of the  Learning Disabilities Association of America (LDA), National Association of Gifted Children (NAGC), and Independent Educational Consulting Association(IECA) and will soon lead IECA’s Rural Small Town Affinity Group.
